He was born on December 10, 1954 in Jackson, TN to Donald Jordan and the late Mary Nell Cupples Jordan. He was a 1973 graduate of South Side High School and a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. He worked for Coca-Cola for 29 years and most recently for AutoZone and Martin Supply.
He is survived by his wife, Vickie Lay Jordan; Son, Blake Aaron Jordan; Daughter, Carrie Nell Cherry (Jon); his father and step-mother, Donald and Kay Jordan; and brothers, David and Larry Jordan.
The family will receive friends on Sunday afternoon, October 23, 2016 from 2-5 p.m. at George A. Smith and Sons South Chapel. The funeral service will be held on Monday, October 24, 2016 at 2 p.m. at George A. Smith and Sons South Chapel with interment to follow in Highland Memorial Gardens.
