

Mr. Quinton (Quin) Noel Robbins, age 68, died peacefully in his home on December 4, 2014 in Hendersonville, TN. His devotion to his family and his firm belief in God supported him in his struggle, and ultimately gave him peace.A Celebration of Life service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Sunday, December 7, 2014 in the South Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons Funeral Home, with Pastor Randy Carter officiating. Interment will follow in Hollywood Cemetery, with military honors rendered by the United States Army. He proudly served his country during the Vietnam War. He loved collecting and repairing classic cars. His prized car was his 1970 Ford Mach 1 Mustang. He enjoyed Western movies and loved Fox News. He loved music by Roy Orbison, Charlie Rich, Johnny Cash and Frank Sinatra. He was the beloved son of the late Charles and Bessie Robbins. He is preceded in death by his brother, Michael Robbins. He was the loving father of Quinton Jr. (Christina), Christina (Stephen), and Charlene (Brian), and proud grandfather of Katelyn, Aaron, Brielle, and Quinton III; and the mother of his children, Eva Peterson. He is also survived by Dorothy Owens, George Robbins, Phyllis Robbins, Donely Butts, and Debbie Wise.The family wishes to thank the numerous caregivers who devoted many hours lovingly caring for him.Visitation with the family will be held on Sunday, December 7, 2014 from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m., at the South Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons Funeral Home.
