Robbie June Walters

Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 9, 2014 in the South Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons Funeral Home with interment to follow in Ridgecrest Cemetery. Rev. J.P. Stovall will officiate the services.

Mrs. Robbie was born on June 8, 1955 in Jackson, TN to the late Delmer and Oma Tubbs Taylor. She was a loving, caring, and sometimes overprotective wife, mother and grandmother. She attended Victory Worship Center on occasion. When she was able, she enjoyed camping and fishing. She enjoyed watching her son play baseball and football and even helped coach. For a short while, she ran a cleaning business with her husband.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband, Cecil Ray Walters; two children Ricky Walters (Sylvia) and Amy Walters; five grandchildren, Vivian, Andy, Maria, Tristan, and Noah; four sisters, Gladys Walters, Beatrice Hickman, Terry Borders, and Lisa Burleson.

Visitation with the family will be held on Thursday, May 8, 2014 from 5-7 p.m. in the South Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons Funeral Home.
