

Albert was the third of four children born to Wilmer and Rosie King of Deerfield Beach, FL, who preceded him in death, including his sister, Gerry, and brother, Ray. His surviving sibling is his brother Joe and sister-in-law Kitty. Albert enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working in his yard. At the age of 17, he joined the United States Navy and fought in the Viet Nam war, where he received many honors, including the Purple Heart. He worked for BellSouth for 45 years, which was the same amount of time that he was married to his beloved wife, Betty, after meeting in 1972 at the phone company. From their loving union came their children: Christine (Wade), Jessica (Sonny), and Albert. He was a loving and devoted father, grandfather, and great grandfather. His grandchildren are Gabriel, Autumn, Elijah, and Allie. His great-grandchildren are Carter and soon-to-be-coming Reyna Rose. Funeral Services with military honors will be held on Friday, January 15th 2021 beginning at 11:00AM in the Mandarin Chapel with Pastor Tim Maynard officiating
