Alex Fitzgerald Hawkins

Alex Fitzgerald Hawkins, passed away at his home on August 7, 2023. Born to the late Albert Lee Hawkins Jr., and Jessie Mae Outlaw Hawkins on November 16, 1967, in Norfolk, Virginia. Alex graduated from Maury High School in 1986.

Alex started his career with the Department of the Navy, working at the then Naval Air Station Norfolk as an Aircraft Body Mechanic in 1995. In 1999, Alex transferred to Naval Air Station Jacksonville, Florida. Since 2016, Alex worked as a Certified Nurse Assistant for Brookdale Senior Living.

Alex leaves to cherish his memory, his brother Albert Lee Hawkins, III and nieces Lauren Nicole Hawkins of Jacksonville, Florida, and Tabetha Cleche’ Hawkins of Arlington, Texas. Uncles Danny Louis and James Alton Outlaw, both of Norfolk, Virginia; Aunts Gail Sandra Lee and husband Rudolph of Upper Marlboro, Maryland, and Grace Allison Outlaw of Norfolk, Virginia and a host of cousins and friends.
