Alexander “Alex” Thomas Springs, age 30, passed away in Jacksonville, Florida on August 28, 2017. He was born on March 24, 1987 in Jacksonville to Lloyd and Samantha Springs. He graduated from the University of North Florida. Alex was an IT Systems Administrator for Physician Medical Center, INC. for several years in the Jacksonville, Florida region.
Alex is survived by his parents, Lloyd and Samantha Springs, along with his grandmother, Shirley Thomas; uncle, Clay Thomas (Donna Thomas); aunts, Waneva Ivey (Donald Ivey), Kay Long (Michael Long), Donna Springs; and several cousins.
Family and friends celebrated Alex’s life on Saturday, September 2, 2017 at the Hardage-Giddens Oaklawn Chapel, 4801 San Jose Blvd., Jacksonville, Florida 32207.
