BROWNING, Mrs. Alma S. “Me-Ma” Browning, 84, went home to be with the Lord Friday, April 20, 2012. Mrs. Browning, a much beloved wife, mother and grandmother, was predeceased by her husband, Woodrow Browning and her daughter, Lynette Browning. Survivors include her 2 daughters, Elaine (David) Roy and Beth (Jeff) Marquette; her son, David (Gale) Browning; 1 sister, Ruth Herndon; 2 brothers, Rev. Eugene (Sue) Sheffield and James (Burnell) Sheffield; 6 grandchildren: Mitchell and Travis (Michelle) Browning, David (LaGina) Roy, Jr., Kimberly (Steve) Milton, Jennifer Roy and Michelle Marquette; and many great grandchildren and other loving family and friends. Mrs. Browning was a long standing member of Bit-N-Spur Saddle Club. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, April 23, in the chapel of COREY-KERLIN FUNERAL HOME, 1426 Rowe Ave. with Rev. Marguerite Matthews officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM Sunday, April 22, at the funeral home.
