

Ann M. Kopko, 89, passed away suddenly on December 21, 2012. Born in Newton Falls, Ohio, to the late Michael and Rose Smolak Gulachi, she was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Ann was a receptionist and clerk at the Ravenna Arsenal in Ravenna, Ohio. Following her many years at the arsenal, she then served as Deputy Clerk of Courts with the Newton Falls Municipal Court. Ann continued her career as the Office Manager for St. Joseph Catholic Church in Newton Falls, Ohio, and after 10 years of service, she retired.
She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Jacksonville, Florida, and loved spending time with her family. She cherished her travels around the world and loved meeting new people. She was devoted to her family and her friends could always count on her. She was an active and independent woman her whole life with a constant desire to learn new things.
Preceded in death by her beloved husband of 42 years, Edward Kopko, she is survived by her son, Michael Kopko (Deborah); daughters, Diane Klotz (Criston) and Judith Toth (Bruce); grandchildren, Wesley Toth, Andrew Klotz, Alyssa Toth and Caitlin Klotz; along with other family member and friends.
A Memorial Mass will held 11:00 am on Monday, January 7, 2013 with visitation one hour prior to service in St. Joseph’s Historic Catholic Church, 4214 Loretto Rd. Jacksonville, FL 32258 with Father Dan Cody as Celebrant. Memorial contributions in Ann’s name may be made to Community Hospice of NE FL or to the St. Joseph’s Historical Church Renovation Fund.
