Ann Moritz Scherer, 86, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on January 24, 2018. She was born on August 13, 1931 in Chicago, Illinois. Ann was predeceased by her husband of 61 years, John R. Scherer, III. She leaves behind the legacy of three daughters, Terry (Larry) Cook, Barbara (David) Andrews, and Jennifer (Marc) Swiatek; five grandchildren, Joshua (Annie) Swiatek, Chelsea (Sean) McKendree, Rebecca Swiatek, Caitlyn (Charles) Tofferi, and Cody Cook; and her first great grandchild, Gavin McKendree. Ann lived a life full of Eternal purpose and hope in the Lord and shared that hope generously with all who crossed her path.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Thursday, February 1, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Eastside Community Church, 13301 Beach Boulevard., Jacksonville, FL
