ANNE LONGINOTTI SANDLIN, 65, of Jacksonville, Florida, wife, mother, grandmother (“Nannie”), sister, and friend, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on March 15, 2026. Born in St. Louis, Missouri, Anne grew up in Memphis, Tennessee, where she developed a lifelong love for the Tennessee Volunteers and for the family and friendships that remained central to her life. Anne’s quiet faith shaped the way she lived, expressed in the steady, selfless way she cared for her family and served others.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward Longinotti and LaRue Longinotti. Anne is survived by her husband, Rob Sandlin; her daughters, Casey Sandlin Kolinsky (Keenan) and Morgan Sandlin McArthur (Neal); her cherished grandchildren, Robert Franklin Kolinsky “Bobby” and McClain Louise Kolinsky, with grandbaby number three expected this summer; and her siblings Mary Beth Wilkes (Ronnie), Ed Longinotti III (Lisa), Tom Longinotti (Debbie), Laurie Feler (Claudio), and Lisa Redus. She also leaves many beloved nieces and nephews.
Anne graduated from the University of Tennessee with a degree in business and later earned an accounting degree from the University of North Florida. She built her life in Jacksonville surrounded by family and friends, was raised in the Catholic Church, and was a member of Southside Methodist Church.
For more than 30 years, she was part of the San Marco Running Girls in Jacksonville, a group that became a cherished circle of lifelong friends. An avid Tennessee Volunteers football fan, she loved traveling with her family to attend games. She also had a passion for golf and was an accomplished player, recording four holes-in-one over the years, and enjoyed traveling with Rob and friends to golf destinations across the country.
Anne was deeply devoted to her daughters and cherished their close bond, filled with daily phone calls, shopping trips, laughter, and pride in the women they became. Above all, she was devoted to her family and will be remembered as a loving wife, wonderful mother, and proud, devoted Nannie to her grandchildren.
In 2022, Anne was diagnosed with lung cancer, which she faced with remarkable strength, courage, and grace. She will be remembered for her warmth, resilience, and deep devotion to her family, and for the way she inspired those around her to care for one another and to live with generosity, selflessness, compassion, and unwavering belief.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, March 23, at 3:30 p.m. at Southside Methodist Church in Jacksonville, Florida, with visitation in the chapel from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. A private family burial will follow in Knoxville, Tennessee.
