Anthony Salvaggio, 90, passed away peacefully on July 14, 2016 in Jacksonville, FL. He was born in Cleveland, OH on July 17, 1925 to Mary and Steve Salvaggio. Anthony retired to Ponte Vedra Beach, FL and was a member at Sawgrass Country Club. He proudly served his country in the United States Army Air Force in the capacity of Sargent. During his working years, he was employed by United Technologies as the Director of Sourcing. Anthony is preceded in death by his former wife, Shirley; sister, Sarah Horvath; brothers-in-law, Emil Horvath and Ned Huffman and daughter, Joan. He is survived by his children, Stephen (April), Lawrence (Janet), John, Philip (Linda), Susan Solms (Michael), sister, Angela Huffman; 11 grandchildren, one great-grandchild and 5 nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, July 23 at Cypress Village in Egret Hall 4600 Middleton Park Circle, Jacksonville FL 32224. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
