Austin Marcus Adams, known to many as Blueberry, passed away at the age of 21, March 7th in Jacksonville, FL, where he lived his short life. Austin lived his life with passion. He was bright, funny, adventurous, and genuinely kind at heart. He lived in the moment. He was independent (from birth), strong willed (AKA as stubborn) with one of the biggest hearts around. Only Austin could be loving, caring, strong-willed and obstinate simultaneously. We will all miss that independence and tenacity that was the epitome of our beloved Austin. He adored his dogs, Capone and Yama. One was named after a notorious gangster, the other after the yogic ethics (even if was on a subconscious level). He lived these values in his own way. He practiced the idea of non-violence when he cared for his animals or made time for his family and friends. Austin demonstrated the ethic of self-knowledge by researching everything that interested him, throwing himself whole-heartedly into each endeavor. He demonstrated this strength again by forcing himself to ask for help even when the struggle was going to be great. Austin loved adventure and thrill seeking, anywhere from snowboarding from the top of a mountain for the first time (skipping the bunny slopes) to roller coasters in local amusement parks when he was not ‘quite tall enough” to ride with his friends. He would take spontaneous trips to the West Coast to visit friends and various festivals. His pups would love spending time with him on their skateboard rides. Blueberries – He could eat blueberries and fresh fruits by the bushel. Austin, well, he was Austin and you will be missed by many. We love you.
