ZIMMERMAN---Bernice Ponsell Zimmerman, 89, passed away Saturday, May 20, 2006. Mrs. Zimmerman was an active member of First Baptist Church for over 60 years. She is survived by 3 daughters, Jean M. (John) Parker, Sylvia D. (David) Scott and Linda S. (Kevin) Kindred; 2 sons, William “Bill” P. (Marilyn) Mullen and Richard A. (Ellen) Zimmerman; a sister, Lucille (Bill) McDonald; 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 24 in the Chapel of COREY-KERLIN FUNERAL HOME, 940 Cesery Blvd. with Rev. Steve McCollum officiating. Interment will follow in Arlington Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday (TODAY) at the funeral home.
