

She was born January 19, 1941 to Boyce and Lee Lipscomb Crocker in Gaffney, South Carolina. Betty graduated from Gaffney High School in 1959 and later from Winthrop University with a degree in Elementary Education. She taught at Hyde Grove, Gregory Drive and Crystal Springs Elementary Schools in Jacksonville for over 40 years before retiring in 2007, making many friends along the way.
She was predeceased by her mother, father and Brothers Boyce Eugene Crocker and Addison Crocker. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Michael L. Goodman, her sons Scott and
Eric, her granddaughter Taylor, her sister Mary Ellen Yother of Easley, SC and her brother Donald Crocker of Rock Hill, SC.
Special thanks to the staff at St. Catherine's Laboure Manor for their devoted attention to Betty for the last year.
Betty was much loved and will be greatly missed by all those that knew her.
Arrangements entrusted to Hardage Giddens 729 S Edgewood Ave Jax. Fl. 32205, where a Memorial Service Celebrating her life will be held for family and friends, Saturday April 9, 2016 from 1-230 pm.
