I knew Wayne in 1964. What I remember about him was that he had integrity

Death is nothing at all – I have only slipped away to the next room.

used. Laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes we enjoyed
together. Play, smile, think of me, pray for me. Let my name be
the household word it always was. Let it be spoken without effort.
Life means all that it ever meant. It is the same as it ever was;
there is absolutely unbroken continuity. Why should I be out of 
your mind because I am out of your sight ?  I am but waiting for you,
for an interval, somewhere very near just around the corner.
All is well. Nothing is past; nothing is lost. One brief moment and
all will be as it was before – only better, infinitely happier and
forever – we will all be one together with Christ.

Hi Wayne, just got back in town and have been thinking about you quite a bit these last couple of weeks. The one thing that sticks with me since I saw you last was the time old saying "We need to try to get together soon" and most of the time we never seem to do it. I promise you I won't use those words again without trying everything in my power not to follow through. I sure missed a great opportunity to see you and laugh with you before it was to late. Sorry buddy I won't forget you.

Haven't seen Wayne since the house on Greenfield.  If you remember the old black El Camino with the flames down the side; you can only remember what a fun guy Wayne could be.  I got two tickets in that car in one week...

I met Wayne through DiAnn 42 years ago. We went and did a lot together for the next 12 years. I have enough great memories hanging out with Wayne and DiAnn to last a lifetime. I never heard Wayne say unkind words about anyone, although you never could tell when you were going to be on the receiving end of one of his jokes. Wayne's smile was always present as seen in the slides at his service. He was slow to anger and quick to forgive. He lived every day of his life to the fullest and if he was down shared it only with his loving wife DiAnn. I'll miss you buddy, wish I'd known you longer than I did.

Wayne was a great guy.I learned so much about restoring cars with him and my dad from a young age.Wayne will be greatly missed.

I love and will miss my brother. Thank you to all who attended his funeral, it meant so much to our family. Know that we will be re-united again in Heaven.

With Denise being my best friend for over 30 years, I had the pleasure of getting to know her family over the years.   Uncle Wayne was such a sweet soul, and John and I enjoyed chatting with him and DiAnn about all kinds of things. Wayne was a friend and always fun to be around, many good times as single guys ! So sorry for your loss Diann, maybe you remember me from the old days ?

I haven't seen Wayne since the 60's, but he was a guy you could never forget.  You couldn't ask for a better friend.  We had so many good times together and I will cherish all the laughs and fun we had.  My condolences to all his family and friends.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief.  May your memories bring you comfort.

Wayne was a wonderful neighbor and friend. You could always count on a smile, and engaging conversation. In the short time I knew Wayne, he was able to capture my attention with his positive attitude and wonderful stories. He had stories from the Army, and many more on his trips, experiences, and love for cars. He will be missed greatly on our street. My thoughts are prayers are with DiAnn and the rest of the family. May your hearts heal in knowing he is in heaven still smiling down.

Wayne will be sorely missed.  He was a great guy,  always smiling and ready to have a good time.  A real "car guy".    My thoughts and prayers are with DiAnn and all the family.
