Prior to retirement Bruce was in the restaurant supply and equipment industry for many years.
He was pre-deceased by his second wife, Donna Gail Boyer and a daughter, Lauren.
He is survived by his wife, Donna M. Boyer, seven sons, Mark, Todd, Craig, Eric, Bourke and Brandon and one daughter, Andrea and two step-daughters, Heidi Sanders and Erin Queen. Also surviving is one brother David Wayne Boyer and sister, Judy Webb.
A memorial service will be on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the Hardage-Giddens Greenlawn Funeral Home, 4300 Beach Blvd. Jacksonville, Florida 32207.
