He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Ahla Mae Seay Johns and William A. Johns. He is survived by his devoted wife, Patricia Johns; two sons, Cecil Johns (Cheryl) and Kellan Johns (Angie); and a daughter, Karla Johns Reynolds (Cameron). He was a proud grandfather to Yvonne Smith (Drew), Chelsea Anno (Jonathan), and Brian Johns (Barbara), and was blessed with five great-grandchildren who brought him immense joy.
A memorial service for Buddy will be held Saturday, August 23, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 940 Cesery Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32211.
