Carol Ohl Hudson

Carol Ohl Hudson, age 78, went to be forever with her Lord and Savior on December 6, 2020. Carol was born April 10, 1942 to Wilton J. “Pete” and Marjorie Nicolls Ohl in Meadville, PA. She graduated from James Madison University in 1964 and later obtained a Master of Education degree from Oglethrope University.

She lived in Florida and was a member of Lakewood UMC since 1982. She enjoyed teaching the Bible to children, youth and adults. It was her greatest joy to share the love of Jesus Christ. Carol saw everyone as her family in Christ and would welcome you without hesitation. We all felt loved in her presence. Her faith was in abundance and she had an amazing gift of teaching it through knowledge and example.

Known as “CC” by her beloved grandchildren, she filled their days with laughter, love, hugs, encouragement, card games, bubbles, and always had a video camera going at their events. She adored each of her 9 grandchildren, Lavoris Mobley (Alexa), Tyler A. Scott (Jessica), Macgregor T. Hudson, Katherine H. Scott, Lucille C. Hudson, James W. Hudson, Virginia J. Hudson, Peter S. Hudson and Garrett M. Hudson. “CC” was also blessed with 3 great-grandchildren, Isabella, Annalise and Miranda who she treasured watching them grow and receiving their hugs.

Carol was dedicated to her family and it showed in everything she did. Carol is survived by her husband of 56 years M. Thomas Hudson, their 3 children Jennifer H. Scott (Timothy), Michael T. Hudson (Alyson), and John M. Hudson (Michele).

Her compassion, generosity, laugh and smile will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
