Cary, I will miss that raspy voice of yours and your stories and antics.   Peace and blessings to Robin, his children, his extended family, and his Aqua family during this time of loss.    You fought hard Cary and now you are deserving of rest and peace.  Farewell for now..

Our family has known Cary Hart for 31 years. He welcomed us to Ponte Vedra at Aw Shucks and we became close friends and customers. He and my late husband, Bill, shared many good laughs over golf, football and other sports, perhaps a few bets were exchanged among the many years as well. We will remember Cary with much fondness and love. Our sincere sympathy goes out to his family.  May he rest in peace.

We were part of the team that helped open up the new Aqua and we all had the most amazing time. This is also when I got to know Mr Hart as CH and realized the gruff bear I knew was actually more of a teddy bear💕

CH. Where do I start? You gave me the opportunity to work at Aqua at 15…never would I have thought I’d have stayed on board for the next 6 years! I spent a very important part of my life with you, learning, yelling and all in all having a blast! You were a wonderful human and I am lucky to have known you as good as I had. Sending condolences to those that loved him most. 

Many years ago I was the chairman of the Kristina Jonsson fund for challenged children. He was a very generous and kind donor. We were all so very grateful. In addition his restaurant was always very accommodating to our son with special needs and our family. He made a difference in this world. May he rest in peace . 

What a terribly sad day this is.  I send my condolences to Robin and his family and my thoughts and prayers are with all  of you.
What I am going to remember most is all the fun times we had at Lake Tahoe at the Celebrity Golf event.  It was great to see Cary and Robin away from the Aqua Grill and get away from the everyday job of running the restaurant.  RIP

Cary and I opened the original Aw Shucks in 1983 in Gainesville, the second in Ponte Vedra in 1987.  The rest is history.  For those who were part of the 1980’s, here’s some pics.  Could not find one of C. Hart!!

Aw Shucks and, of course, Aqua. Our Bdays are 6 days apart and even if we went months without connecting we both always texted each other - on Father's Day as well. He'll be truly missed

My sincere condolences to all C H’s family and friends.  I will always remember his kind heart, jokes, and smile.  I truly admire his strength, compassion and dedication to everything in his life.  His memory will live on and will cherish the years we spent working together.

Oh C Hart can't believe your gone. Cary and I became thick as thieves in our days in Gainesville. I worked at Aw Shucks ( the original Aqua Grill) my last years in Gainesville. We shared an extreme passion for sports gambling and had a blast doing it together. Some of my deepest loudness laughs came when I was around Cary. I still use slang terms  he made up in our younger years. Cary you will be missed by so many. 
One of the best traits one can have is to make people smile and laugh, you definitely did this!!! Rest now you had a very fulfilled life.

For 20 years, going to PV has felt like we were in a familiar old neighborhood … in part because of how he welcomed us and made us feel at home. Such a good man. I can see that smile and hear that raspy voice today … and I will miss it always.
