Charles “Chuck” Angelo, age 73, passed away on November 13, 2010. Chuck was born on March 12, 1937 in Bay Shore Long Island, New York to the late Charles A. Angelo Sr. and Marian M. Angelo. In 1987, he moved from Ohio to Jacksonville, Florida. He retired in 1999 from CSX Railroad after 37 years of service. He was commissioned a Kentucky Colonel by the Governor of Kentucky. Both Chuck and his wife, Annette regularly attended the Jacksonville Symphony.
Chuck is preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Janet Angelo. He is survived by his loving wife, Annette W. Angelo; sons, Dennis Angelo, Douglas Angelo; and sisters, Nancy A. Ellis, Frances Angelo Haines.
A Memorial Service will be held at 6pm on Monday, November 22nd in Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Jacksonville Humane Society.
