FORD, Charley Edward Ford, 91, passed away, Monday, May 26, 2008. Charley was born April 10, 1917 in Carthage, NM. He served his country as a member of the Arkansas National Guard and was a book keeper. Charley was a voracious reader, enjoyed a good game of pool and was very good at tennis. He loved his Lord and sharing his faith in Christ with others. He was a member of Arlington Baptist Church where he taught Sunday School for a number of years. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Hortense and is survived by his daughters, Sandra E. (Johnnie) McCall and Charlotte M. Fitzgerald; grandsons, John (Glenda) and Chris (Susan) McCall, Ken (Christi) Fitzgerald; 13 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 30th at 11:00 a.m. at Arlington Baptist Church, 6009 Arlington Road with Rev. Joe Newton, officiating. Interment will follow in Arlington Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 29th from 6:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. in the chapel of COREY-KERLIN FUNERAL HOME, 940 Cesery Blvd.
