HICKEY--Chauvine Pomar Hickey, 77, passed away on Tuesday June 30, 2015. She was born on May 21, 1938 in St. Augustine to Donal B. Pomar and Catherine Chauvin. She was a longtime member of Resurrection Catholic Church and had extensively traveled all over the world with her husband and family. Her large family was a great comfort to her. Survivors include her loving and devoted husband of 54 years, Howard; daughter, Pamela Cartrette (Todd); sons, Patrick Hickey (Jackie) and Michael Hickey (Donna); brother, Donald Pomar (Judy); 10 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild and several other wonderful relatives and friends. A Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, July 8, 2015, 10:00am at Resurrection Catholic Church, 3383 University Blvd. N. with a reception to follow. Inurnment will be Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 pm in the Jacksonville National Cemetery. Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 940 Cesery Blvd. assisting the family.
