Clara Williams Olsen

Clara W. Olsen, passed away on Tuesday June 5, 2018. Clara was born on January 3, 1926 to Sol E. Williams and Maggie J. Brigman. She was born and educated in Sumter County, Florida descendent of ancestors who settled in Florida prior to statehood. She resided in Jacksonville most of her life. Formerly employed by and a retiree of Prudential Life Insurance Company. Member of St. Catherine’s Episcopal Church where she was active for many years.

Predeceased by her husband Louis N. Olsen, Jr., two sisters, three brothers, as well as numerous other family members.

Survived by her daughter and son-in-law: Phyllis A Hart and Mac A. Hart; grandson Brian E. Hart (Samantha); great-grandson Ethan T. Hart; great-granddaughter, Emmerson J. Hart; nieces, Virginia Blakely, JoAnn Haynes, Linda Rodrick, and numerous other nieces and nephews; Godchildren; Bonnie Simmons, Pam Ubl, Kim Burford and Gerald Wayne Hatch.

Funeral services will be held 12:00 noon on Friday, June 8, 2018 in the St. Catherine’s Episcopal Church, 4758 Shelby Ave., Jacksonville, Fl. 32210. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery next to her husband.
