
Dana Renee Hughes, 48, of Jacksonville, went home to be with Jesus on Wednesday, February 27, 2013 surrounded by her loving family. Dana is a life-long resident of Jacksonville. She attended Andrew Jackson Senior High School, and owned Hughes Custom Homes. Dana’s inspiring Strength and unwavering faith in Jesus, touched the lives of all of those she encountered. She is survived by her husband of 29 years, Scott Hughes and two loving children, Dustin & Lindsey; her Mom and Dad, Brenda and Glen Lourcey; father, James Payne; Devoted mother-in-law, Sandy Avery and father-in-law, L.J. Hughes (Jane); brother, Tracy Payne (Amy); sisters, Marlena Palmer (Walker) and Jennifer Farnsworth (Chad); Sissy’s beloved nieces and nephews, Kaleen, Noah, Charlie, Kinsley, Reese, and Claire; Grandmother, Lois Lourcey and many other family members and friends. The celebration of Dana’s life will be held at Christ’s Church, 6045 Greenland road, Jacksonville, Fl. Family will greet friends at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 2, 2013 and the service will begin at 11 a.m. Dana’s friend and pastor, Dennis Bratton will be officiating.
