David Fortin Greene, age 75, of Jacksonville, passed away on December 15, 2015. He was born December 31, 1939 in Westerly, RI, the son of the late Edward and Ella Greene. David had many careers throughout his life. The two he enjoyed the most were being a State Trooper in Rhode Island and most recently, becoming Part Owner and Beer Brewer at Oak Creek Brewery and Grill in Sedona, AZ. David and his wife, Gail, had a shared love of the water and went on many cruises. However, their first love and meeting place in 2005 was the dance floor. The two were often found at the Friday Night Dance Club in Orange Park with their extended dance family. David is now dancing with the angels. David is survived by his wife, Gail Elizabeth Greene of Jacksonville and three nephews of Rhode Island. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Danielle Greene of Jacksonville. A Memorial Service will be held on January 3, 2016 at 4:00 pm in Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin.
