Daytone it is hard to believe today 3 years ago was the last time I saw your beautiful face . The very last words you said to me was "I'll see you later" and you walked out my door never to return. I never dreamed that you would be gone the very next morning.

I miss so much about you, most of all that I have to go forward without you, not being able to see you grow up into the wonderful young woman that I know you would have become.

I know you are together with your daddy and poppy and I  will see you all one day.  Until then know you are in my heart...

My beautiful, sweet baby girl (most of the time!) I  miss you not being here. I miss your beautiful smile, your laughter and your wonderful sense of humor.  You could light up a room when you wanted to.   There was still a lot of life that I wish you could have experienced, more trips for you to take with friends and family that will never be taken, more time for you to flourish, but it was not to be. God needed another angel and he picked you.  Spread your wings and fly, while you will not have all the earthly things I wanted you to have,  you are flying high above me and will forever be in my heart.

TT loves you so much and thinks of you EVERY day.  I cant believe its been a year ago since you went home to heaven. I know you miss all of your loved ones on Earth and are watching over us. I miss the days you were here & I would style your hair and pick out your outfits. Shop for clothes and shoes with your mom. I miss the last time you sat on my couch last July and spent time with me for hours laughing and being silly and sharing your secrets with me. Daytone, you left this world a year ago today.  You have been missed each and everyday.  When you were a baby I would sing "you are my sunshine" to you never realizing just how true it was.  My world has not been as bright since you left it.

Your beautiful "poppy" eyes, brilliant smile and wonderful sense of humor is in my heart and it will stay there until the time comes that I get to see you again.  Until then I hope you spread your wings and fly.

My dearest cousin.  I remember so little of you. I was around briefly when you were just a little girl. Back when your dad, my uncle frank and grandpa were still around. I was just beginning to reach out to you the past 4-5 years by sending you pictures & video footage of your dad and grandpa. I especially looked forward to each year when i  sent you birthday and Christmas gifts. And then after all the years, i finally got to see you in person October 21, 2021. Even though we didn't say a whole lot to each other.  I was so happy to see you, my cousin.  After our little visit you had sent me a message telling me of a nice little dog park that we could go to next time.I'm really going to miss you, Daytone. Miss getting a chance to get to know you know you. My dearest cousin.  I love you!!

you were the first true friend that I made when I moved to Florida. Since the second we met, we were bonded by our love for the weird. We would crawl around the house as love-bugs, dance like Chaka, and smoke out the trailer at the lake house. We were always doing something weird and exciting, never a second wasted. You were also my rock through the very difficult loss of my sister, Sarah. You always knew how to bring a smile to someone’s face, even during tough times. All in all, you are an amazing person and I am blessed to have had you as my best friend. Gone but never forgotten; I’ll always hold you close Sis.

The last time I saw Daytone was when she brought her new puppy Remy over for me to see her. She had the biggest smile on her face beaming with joy over that puppy !  We talked for about 30 minutes about the things the puppy was doing and her just gushing over her as if it were her child .  Daytone you sweet girl, u will surely be missed by so many that love you unconditionally.  I guess heaven needed another angel and chose you.  Forever in our hearts ! 

Pat,  I am so very sorry about the loss of Daytone.  I know that she was the light of your life and your entire heart and soul.  I pray that you are able to find some peace in knowing that she is in the arms of her loved ones dancing in the sky.  Xoxo

I would like to offer the deepest and most sincere condolences of the Austrian part of the family. We never met Daytone in person, I only knew her mom when she visited Austria as a child. I looked through the uploaded pictures from family and friends, and Daytone seemed to be a really nice girl!

Where Do I start. You were such an beautiful an amazing person. You always lit the room up with that smile of yours. I'll never forget you and your love and passion for horses. Daytone Marie Mallard, where do I start? I love you so very much, always have from the day you were born and always well til the day I join you. Your life on earth was short, but shorter than I ever expected, I will forever miss you, your smile and your laughter was comforting for everyone around you, it brought me SO much joy, I have hundreds of pictures of us together when you were just our little peanut. Most recently I remember you sitting on my couch and sharing stories with me that made me laugh and cry. You are my goddaughter and my niece, blood didn’t have to make a family, we chose each other. Your TT loves you so much, enjoy your time with your daddy and your poppy until I see you again. I will cherish our memories forever , you are your mommy‘s mini me, I promise to stay strong for her, and you know me and Oma will take care of her. Love you DD !!! ❤️

 I told you how beautiful you were 500 times and told stories about your dad. We had such a good time. 
You're a good kid Daytone.....  I'm heartbroken by the loss of you. Please tell your dad I think of him often. 
Rest easy Dee Dee

Daytone and I shared a special fondness and love of kitty cats. A few years ago I started feeding a few feral cats at the entrance to Daytone's home because she loved the coloring in the one she would see go into the woods. I trapped and spayed her and she has become friendly.  I just stopped to feed them and mama came running up asking more forcefully than normal for some ❤  love. It felt peaceful and I hope Daytone is seeing the change in that one feral kitty who now demands love. She made this babies life better with her love of 😸kitties. 

One of my fondest memories is of Daytone when she was about 4 years old and we were in K Mart Christmas shopping. She wanted this really tacky Santa decoration. As we tried to guide her to something else she said......"I neeeeeeedddddd it". We've laughed through the years about that.  She was way to young to know about need. Lol. She got the decoration...... 👍💯❤. 

Daytone, you were the most important part of my life.  I never knew how much I could love someone until you came into this world and you leaving this world has scattered my heart.  You are with your Daddy and Poppy who did not get to send much time with you on this earth but I know they will get to spend eternity with you now.  

You had a sense of humor that kept everyone laughing and wanting to be around you.  You were loyal and always kind to the underdog. Your love of animals was amazing to watch.  Thank you and God for allowing me to be a part of your life however short.
