Delores Seymour Pruitt was born on August 30, 1938 in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. She was a 1956 graduate of Landon High School and went to work for the Prudential Insurance Company of America for 34 years, and retired in 1992. Delores loved her family, the Prince of Peace Catholic Church and the Florida Gators.
Delores was predeceased by her parents, Mary Francis Davis Seymour and Harold "Red" Boyce Seymour and her two brothers, Richard Wayne Seymour and Harold Boyce "Butch" Seymour (Carole) and also her daughter Peri Ann Nolan (Jay).
She is survived by her soulmate and love of her life, Roger S. Pruitt, II, her son, Brett Matthew Pruitt (Jacklyn) and her pride and joy - 4 grand children, Jay, Jr., Ridge, Kira, and Parker. Also 6 great grand children, Michael, Camden, Elijah, Reese, Skylar and Riven; two sisters, Billie Jean Johnson (Euel) and Sandra Conner (Robert).
This beautiful woman was loved by many and will be missed dearly.
A Funeral Mass will be held at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 6320 Bennett Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32216 on Monday, June 27, 2022 at 11 am.
