
Denise Lang (née Helget), age 84, of Jacksonville, Fla., passed away peacefully on Oct. 2. She was born in Milwaukee, Wis., to Dorothy and Andrew Helget. Denise is survived by her devoted husband of 65 years, Harry Lang; her children, Russ Lang (Tina) and Michelle Kersch (David); her grandchildren, Brandon Lang, Ashley Edwards (John), Chad Kersch, Nick Lang (Kristin) and Blake Lang; and her great-grandchildren, Abigail Edwards, Madeline Edwards, Adelina Lang and Oliver Lang. She was preceded in death by her son, Jeff; her parents; and her sisters, Joan Mulvaney and Yvonne Erdmann. Denise was a cherished wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She had a deep faith in our Lord Jesus Christ and was a long-time parishioner of Resurrection Catholic Church. Known for her incredible creativity and talent, Denise crafted beautiful floral arrangements, was a talented wood worker, and was well known for being able to fix almost anything. A Funeral Mass will be held at Resurrection Catholic Church on Saturday, Oct. 26 at 10 am.
