Dolores Raczynski

Dolores Raczynski, daughter of Walter and Martha Urbaniak, passed away on Friday, May 3. Dear Wife of the late Anthony Walter Raczynski, beloved mother of Paul, Christine Giles, John and Peter (Kathleen Butler), cherished Aunt of Marsha Urbaniak. Dolores was a proud Veteran of the Women’s Army Corps of World War II, in service with Communications Teams immediately following the Normandy Invasion from London, to Paris, and into Germany. Member of the Tanner Paul Post of American Legion, the Milwaukee Archdiocesan Priest Mother’s Guild, and the Christian Women’s Society of the former St. John Kanty Parish there. Visitation and Funeral Mass will be held at her Parish home in Jacksonville Fl, San Jose Catholic Church on Tuesday, May 7, at 10:00 AM. Interment with her husband at the Wood National Veteran’s Cemetery in Milwaukee will be held at a later date, with Bishop Richard J. Sklba DD offering the final commendation.
