

Dominic E. Ameen, 46 died suddenly on Sunday November 17, 2019 in Jacksonville, FL. Dominic was born in Mentor, Ohio on July 9, 1973. At the age of ten, Dominic and his family moved to Orange Park, FL so his father could pursue his career with McDonalds. Dominic graduated from Orange Park High School in 1991. After graduation he stayed living in Orange Park and worked at several stores to help his father, he then decided to go into management and was in the McDonalds business for 26 years.
In Dominic’s spare time he enjoyed being with his friends, had a love for animals and went fishing often. He leaves behind his mother, Victoria Ameen; father, David Ameen; sisters, Lourice Ameen, Michelle Ameen and Jennifer Lima her husband John Lima; nieces, Rachel and Brooke Lima; nephew, Sebastian Ellis; and grandmother, Delores Ragone.
A Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 9:00 pm on Thursday, November 21, 2019 at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin, 11801 San Jose Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32223, with a Rosary Service at 7:30 pm. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, November 22, 2019 at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin with Father John Reynolds officiating.
The Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery, 4801 San Jose Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32207.
The family request that in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Clay County Humane Society.
