Donald and his sister Donna Langdon, who currently lives in Boulder, Colorado, were the only children of Dan and Regina Mooney. At age 34, he met Susan, his wife of thirty years, and began a family. Donald had a successful career as an Allstate insurance broker and provided well for his family. He was an avid fisherman and boating enthusiast. He was most at peace while on the family boat out in the open sea. Memories of weekends spent on the boat in Greenport, Long Island will be forever cherished by the family he left behind He was a child at heart during the Christmas holiday. Lionel trains, ceramic cottages, and only the most festive of Christmas trees adorned the house. With all the decorations on display, the home looked like a winter wonderland. The aroma of all the favorite delights filled the air. It was truly a magical time of year, especially for the children. Family vacations to Walt Disney World were as magical as the home was during Christmas. Fond memories of Space Mountain, Pirates of the Caribbean, and even the Bear Jamboree will bring smiles to Susan, Douglas and Jasmin for many years to come. He lived out the last 4 years of his life in Jacksonville Florida, and spent his last days surrounded by the family that loves him. He will be missed, but he has been set free and will be in peace, as he was with the sea. You will forever be remembered.
