Donald R. Taylor

He has been a resident of Jacksonville most of his life coming from GA as a young man.

Prior to retirement he was a Brucellosis Technician with the Department of Agriculture for the State of Florida for 40 years.

He was a member of the Holiday Hill Baptist Church and a 33rd Degree Mason with William B. Barnett Lodge #1847 Jacksonville, FL.

He was predeceased by a grandson, Shawn Rice.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Ina Taylor, two daughters, Malynda Rice of Jacksonville, FL and Nancy Chason of Atlanta, GA, two grandchildren, Autumn Rice (Kevin McLaughlin) and Caitlin Chason and one great-grandchild, Jesse McLaughlin.

A visitation will be on Wednesday, March 15, 2017 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with a funeral service being conducted at 11:00am at the Hardage-Giddens Greenlawn Funeral Home, 4300 Beach Blvd. Jacksonville, FL 32207. A reception will follow at the Holiday Hill Baptist Church, 730 Mandalay Rd. Jacksonville, FL 32216.

Interment will be in the Greenlawn Cemetery.
