Dorothy J. Finley, 83, passed away December 23, 2013 surrounded by her family. Dot was born December 22,1930 in Alabama and has lived in the Jacksonville area for the last 50 years. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She spent her life caring for and giving to others.
She is predeceased by her husband Roy J. Finley. She is survived by her daughter Denise Jolley, sons Daniel Finley (Tracey), and Patrick Finley (Anna), 8 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.
The family would like to thank those who gave her exceptional care at Orange Park Medical Center, Life Care on Wells, and Haven Hospice.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, December 27 at Oaklawn Cemetery on San Jose Blvd.
