BERGMAN Dorothy "Dot" Hunter Bergman was born, February 23, 1929 in Columbus, Georgia. A longtime resident of the Jacksonville, FL area; Dorothy died Monday 25th of July. She was preceded in death by her parents Gordon and Lucile Hunter and two of her siblings Bennet R. Hunter and Susie H. Poole. She is survived by her husband of 63 years James C. Bergman, her 3 children, James G. Bergman, Charles H. Bergman and Janet B. Barnett. Dorothy will also be missed by her brother, Gordon A. Hunter, Jr. and sister, Elizabeth H. Russell as well as her 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.Dorothy is loved by many and will be missed by all that knew her. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 31st, 2011, at Arlington United Methodist Church. The family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
