Dorothy “Fay” Yount was born November 19, 1925 in Cleaton, Kentucky to Rhoda and John Huehls. She passed away on July 9, 2021. Fay married Ray Edgar Yount on April 13, 1946. He preceded her in death in 1999.
She is survived by her three daughters, Susan Koch (Carl), Barbara Mollitt of St. Augustine, Pamela Roundtree (Bradley) of Mississippi; seven grandchildren, Laura Strickler (Kyle) of Indiana, Carrie Bruns (Scott) of Indiana, Craig Koch (Amy) of Indiana, Todd Mollitt of St. Johns, FL, Meredith Thorpe (Jeff) of Jacksonville, Erin Holtz (Nick) of Jacksonville, Seth Mollitt (Melissa) of Atlanta, GA; and 20 great grandchildren.
After retiring in 1983 from the State Office Building in Indianapolis, Indiana, she and Ray moved to Jacksonville.
Fay’s passions were her family, faith, friends, travel and books.
