I was just telling someone about him and decided to look him up. How sad to find he had passed. He was a wonderful doctor. He took care of my son on three different times due to accidents he had as child. Doc had a great since of humor and always willing to take time with you.  I remember once I acted so serious about some but then hit the punchline and made him laugh like crazy, then he stopped and said “I can do that” and I laughed. He was a wonderful man as well as a great doctor. You will never be forgotten sir. 

We just recently learned of Dr Dushoff's passing (only about a month before my own dear dad) ... He helped us in many ways, and we think of him often. Thank goodness he was a man not afraid to try to help someone, no matter how daunting the task...

So sorry to hear of Ira's passing.  He was a Prince of a man!  We so enjoyed times spent with him and Judy when we lived in Jacksonville and we are better for having had him amongst our friends for even a brief moment in time. I remember I didn't take the news of amputation very well but I do remember the look of pain on Dr Dushoff's face and his genuine compassion for me.  I even made him an owl pebble picture to thank him which he hung in his offices!  I now live in Australia and am 54, but have never forgotten him.  I was very saddened to hear he has passed away and I wish his family comfort in this very difficult grieving period. In 1985 I had a bad auto accident,I was so blessed that the Lord saved my life,and sent Dr Dushoff to repair my face.I will be forever grateful.He was a Great surgeon and a wonderful person.

I, thankfully, met Dr. Dushoff and his beautiful wifeJudy when I sought the Lord as to who was to perform my surgery. Prior to my first appointment, I recieved many confirmations that he was the one! Needless to say, it turned out beautifully. I later told him that he had anointed hands! He smiled so big, it lit up the room. I have recommended him to others also who recieved his amazing gift. God blessed this world with this man and I ask Him to bless this family with His Peace that passes all understanding.

My Uncle was a piece of work. He made me laugh and he made me cry. I enjoyed much of our time together. I will miss his voice.  I will miss his care and love.  I will miss his encouragement. Hope he will rest easy.  Sending my love and condolences to his nears and dears - especially Aunt Judy.

When all the king's men couldn't put me back together, Dr. Dushoff did!

Dear Dushoff Family,Though we will probably never meet I want you all to know how this Dr. your loved one forever changed my life. It was 46 years ago I was 13 at the time he repaired my cleft palate. I have always been grateful, my regret is that I didn't tell him myself. Rejoice and be comforted that he was a gifted surgeon and meant so much to my future. I don't doubt that there are countless stories just like mine to comfort you all. I just had to tell you all mine.

I was fortunate to have his skill available in the hospital after an auto accident affected my face. The care he gave to the repair work made the damage not visible and I will always be thankful for him.

I meet Dr.Dushoff while I was working at Methodist Hospital in ER/Registration and Admitting under Mr. Backulas. He was an excellent doctor and always pleasant. To the Family be encouraged.

I will miss you, Ira.  I'm so glad I got the chance to know and love you.  You  always had a smile and a big hug for me whenever you saw me and will be in my heart.  My thoughts are with Judy and the rest of the family.
