Edward Paul Andrews Jr.

Edward P. Andrews Jr., 53, of Jacksonville, passed away on October 27, 2011 at St. Vincent’s Medical Center. Edward was born on October 7, 1958 in Altoona, PA to Edward P. and Joan M. (Cox) Andrews. He was the Owner of Andrews Remodeling. Eddie was a Veteran of the US Navy, and a member of the Paxon Revival Center. He was involved with sports through High School, and was very involved with his sons’ basketball team. Eddie loved football, NASCAR, baseball, listening and singing along with his favorite songs. He is survived by his mother, Joan M. Andrews. Additional survivors include his daughter, Erica Nicole Usher (Michael); his son, Zachary Paul Andrews; his 3 sisters, Brenda Andrews, Lori Andrews, and Maria Bannon; his brother, Brian Andrews; his grandchildren, Trevor Kyle Usher, Kayton Nichole Usher, and Kathryn Grace Usher (in utero); and many nieces and nephews. Eddie was preceded in death by his father, Edward P. Andrews. A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held on Sunday, October 30, 2011 from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm, with Memorial Services starting at 3:00 pm in Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin with Pastor Jeff A.
