

Edward is survived by his wife of 54 years, Mildred, and his four children, Christopher (Maxie) Churchill, Kelly (Doni) Rivera, Michael (Jennifer) Churchill, and Matthew (Ronada) Churchill.
He is, also, survived by his 9 grandchildren:
DJ, Sean, & Carly Rivera
Anna, Asher, Benny, & Charlie Churchill
Ryan & Connor Churchill
Ed is survived by his sister, Helen (John) Braccia as well as his cousins, Ellenmarie Biesty & Joan (Peter) Heinsohn. He is also survived by his niece, MaryAnne Frendowski & his nephew, John Braccia.
Ed started his career with Benjamin Moore Paint Company fresh out of high school when he was 17 years old. His association with the company lasted for 47 years. Ed served honorably in the Marines for four years and continued for 21 years in the army reserve. Ed’s family always came first, but he was active in the community as well always helping wherever and whenever he was needed. He served as president of Secret Cove Civic Association for two years. He was president of the semper fidelis organization. He volunteered with seniors vs crime as well as veterans court. He, also, volunteered for nine years at Mayo Clinic.
Ed will be greatly missed for his civic pride, his generosity of spirit, his good humor & dry wit, and for his love of family.
A memorial service for Edward will be held Wednesday, August 13, 2025 at 11:30 AM at Assumption Catholic Church, 2403 Atlantic Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32207. Following the memorial service will be a committal service at 1:30 PM at Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32218.
