

She was a daughter, sister, wife, mother, friend. She served her country as an Army Reserve and National Guard nurse for 20+ years and retired Army Major. Most would not know her as an Army Major though. They knew her as mother, wife, or friend. In her later years she enjoyed attending church, playing the piano before services, and visiting the retirement community for weekly church services.
She is proceeded in death by her mother and father, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Bryer, and her husband of 50 years, Charles Hunnefield who passed in 2015. She is survived by 3 sisters and their husbands, Kathy and Ron Polka, Rita and Chris Trachsel, and Mary and James Miracle, One Brother, Edward Bryer. She is also survived by three sons and their wives, Charles and Nichole Hunnefield, Eric and Margarita Hunnefield, and Lance and Norene Hunnefield. Lastly, she is survived by 9 grandchildren, Benjamin, Brodie, Matthew, Amy, Joseph, Isaac, Sarah, Hannah, and Eva.
Visitation will be held from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin. Her graveside service will take place at 11:00am on Thursday, May 13, 2021 at Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Road, Jacksonville, Florida 32218.
