

Jack is a World War II veteran who faithfully and honorably served the United States of America. Jack received several awards including a Good Conduct Medal, Asiatic Pacific Area Medal, American Area Medal and a World War II Victory Medal to name a few. He survived the sinking of his combat ship and served on several United States naval vessels. Jack worked as a Mechanical Inspector in Engineering while working at Reynolds, Smith and Hills Engineering Company.
Jack had a deep love and passion for the University of Florida Football (“Go Gators”) and enjoyed yard work.
Jack is survived by his daughter; Wanda Robinson (Grady); his sons; Jimmy Green and Elkins Green; his sisters; Mary Kinard (Albert), Myrta Moore; and his grandchildren; Wendy Zepatos, Thomas Robinson and James Green (Michele).
A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at Hardage-Giddens Greenlawn Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. A Funeral service celebrating his long and full life will be held on Thursday, February 23 at 10:00 a.m. Hardage-Giddens Greenlawn Cemetery, 4300 Beach Blvd., Jacksonville, FL.
