Era Hicks Rehberg

REHBERG, Era Hicks Rehberg passed away Thursday. June 14, 2007. Era was born September 24, 1926 to Glenn & Mary (Mamie) Hicks in Ochlochnee, Ga. She & her husband, Jack, graduated in 1943 from Ochlochnee High School. She was predeceased by her parents, sister Thelma Suber, and brothers Hubert, Russell & Glenn E. Hicks. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Jack; sons Michael (Linda). Jacksonville FL., & Donald (Cynthia), Birmingham AL.; 6 grandchildren, Tiffany Stokes, Neptune Beach FL., Blake Rehberg, Gulfport FL., Amanda Rehberg, Charleston SC, Brian & Mark Lassiter, Jacksonville Beach FL., and Troy Lassiter, St. Augustine FL.; 3 great grandchildren, Evan & Kingsley Stokes and Brittani Lassiter. She is also survived by 2 sisters, Edna Crowe, Pensacola FL., Betty Bracken, Jacksonville FL., and a brother, Donnie Hicks, Thomasville GA and many family members and friends. Visitation will be Sunday, June 17, 2007 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM at Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 940 Cesery Blvd., Jacksonville FL. Funeral services will be Monday, June 18, 2007 at 11:00 AM, Arlington Baptist Church, 6009 Arlington Rd., Jacksonville, FL. where she worshipped and served for more than 50 years. Rev. Joe Newton, Rev. Richard Barber and Dr. Dewitt Rehberg officiating. Pallbearers will be Lynwood, Danny and Ken Suber, Blake Rehberg, Mark Lassiter and Robert Hyde. Entombment will be at Arlington Park Cemetery.
