She was preceded in death by her husband, Alton Stone, a son Alton Rocky Stone and her daughters Mitzie Stone and Robin Stone Hogsed. Also preceding her were her Father John Knight Sr. and her Mother and Step-Father, Pauline and Gerald Black and a brother Earnest Knight.
She is survived by her Husband Leonard Newsome, two daughters Teresa Brais “Carlton Tripp” and Susan Davidson “Wayne”, one Brother, John Knight Jr., 9 Grandchildren and 16 Great-grandchildren and several Nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
A visitation will be on Thursday January 29, 2015 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hardage –Giddens Greenlawn Funeral Home , 4300 Beach Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32207.
Funeral Services will be on Friday January 30, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Hardage-Giddens Greenlawn Funeral Home Chapel with interment at Arlington Park Cemetery.
