Faye Harrison-De Santo, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend, passed away peacefully on November 14, 2025. Born on April 3, 1942, Faye lived a life marked by grace, loyalty, and a deep devotion to the people she loved.
She was the proud mother of Michelle De Santo and Melissa Gibbons, and the cherished grandmother of Michael Spence (Desiree Spence), Chad Gibbons (Kylie Gibbons), Erica Laird, Rachel Rowe (Braddock Rowe), and Danielle Spence. She was also blessed with great-grandchildren she adored: Colette Faye Laird, Avery Spence, and Reese Gibbons.
Faye is survived by her siblings Teresa Liszka, Lee Harrison, and Dale Quick. She also leaves behind many cousins, nieces, and nephews she loved dearly, including Maree, Gale, Duffy, Cara, Scott, Elizabeth, Michael, Courtney, Chip, Shannon, and Daryn, along with many more family members and countless friends whose lives she touched.
Faye was known for her timeless class, her unwavering love for family, her strong faith, and the quiet strength she carried through every season. Growing up with a country lifestyle, she embraced simple joys — card games at the table, the comfort of home, the beauty of slow living, ping pong matches that always brought laughter, and dancing to 50’s music, especially the voices of George Jones and Jim Reeves. She was a gifted cook and baker, famous for her caramel cake, a fun and competitive card-game and ping pong partner, a tennis lover, and someone who shared her humble opinions with a smile. Her kitchen was a gathering place, her home a sanctuary, and her presence a steady source of warmth.
She poured her heart into her family and friends. Her kindness, values, and unconditional love live on in each person fortunate enough to have known her.
While we will miss her deeply, we find peace in knowing she is now in heaven, her true self, joyful, and reunited with loved ones. We look forward to the day we see her again.
“He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” — Revelation 21:4
