Florence Marie Butler, age 97 passed away Saturday September 19,2020 in Jacksonville, Florida. She was a native of New Philadelphia, Ohio and lived in Jacksonville since 1949. She was a member of Lake Shore Baptist Church. Her faith based life was an example to all of her family and friends. She will be remembered for her strong Christian beliefs; as well as befriending and helping others. She is predeceased by her parents, Margaret & Emmett True, husband, Fred O. Butler, and sisters Alice Bair and Cora Menapace. Survivors include daughter, Linda McCombs and her husband Rick; son Steven Butler; and grandchildren, Jonathan, Bridget, Joshua, Ricky, Robert & Lisa; Three Great-grandchildren, Parker, Avery, Brady. The family will receive friends at Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home 1426 Rowe Ave Jacksonville, FL 32208 from 10-11 am Tuesday September 22, 2020. Funeral service to follow at 11:00 am. The Rev. Patrick Martin will officiate. Interment will follow at Riverside Memorial Park.
