Frances Eva Gibson

Frances retired from Cay Cartier after a lengthy career in retail sales. She was a devoted member of San Jose Catholic Church.

Surviving are her half-sisters, June Field of Tucson, AZ and Gail Burke (Bill) of Andover, MA; half-brother, Robert Del Rosso of Seekonk, MA; and many nieces, nephews and caring friends. Fran was preceded in death by her husband, Henry T. Gibson; and twin sister, Florence Del Rosso.

Visitation will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, November 11, 2017, at San Jose Catholic Church (3619 Toledo Road, Jacksonville, FL 32217) with a Mass of Christian Burial following at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be at Greenlawn Cemetery (4300 Beach Boulevard) beside her beloved “Gibby”. We would like to thank the wonderful medical team of Community Hospice Earl B. Hadlow Center (4266 Sunbeam Road, Jacksonville, FL 32257), for their loving care during Fran’s final days. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to San Jose Catholic Church or Community Hospice & Palliative Care.
