Frances Barket Joseph

Frances Barket Joseph, age 93, a native of Jacksonville, Florida, died on Friday, April 1, 2016 at home surrounded by her family. Mrs. Joseph was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Joseph (Joe) M. Joseph, and her sister, Mary Lewis. She was a graduate of Robert E. Lee High School and earned her BS degree in Art History from the University of North Florida. She was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church, The Salaam Club, The Molaka Club and Syrian Ladies Charities. She served as a volunteer at St. Luke's Hospital.

Survivors include three sisters, Louise Korey, Elizabeth Abdelnour, and Georgia Abdenour; five sons, Dr. George M. Joseph (Mary), Dr. Richard W. Joseph (Denise), J. Michael Joseph, Jr. (Kay), Gary F. Joseph (Claudia) and Raymond B. Joseph (Cathy); twelve grandchildren; and thirteen great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at The Oaklawn Chapel, 4801 San Jose Blvd., Jacksonville, Florida on Wednesday, April 6, 2016 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. Father Mark Abdelnour will officiate the Memorial Service on Thursday, April 7, 2016 at 11:30 a.m. at All Saints Episcopal Church, 4171 Hendricks Ave., Jacksonville, Florida.
