George S. Loughman, age 79 of Yulee, Fl. passed away peacefully on September 4, 2023. He was born in Niveveh, PA on June 18, 1944, to the late Frank and Elsie Loughman. He was the youngest of seven children and grew up working on the family farm. He served in the United States Army and retired after a successful career with the Florida National Guard at Craig Field, Jacksonville, Fl. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing and hunting. Survivors include his current wife of 27 years, Linda Loughman, sons, Tony Loughman (Alison), and Frank Von Hausser (Marina), daughter Sieglinde Campbell (Bill), and step-daughter Shannon Griffis (Wayne), 7 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, his sisters Eleanor and Happy, his brother Dave and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his brother John and sisters Florence and Kate.
