Geraldine "Jerry" Aspinwall

Geraldine M. “Jerry” Aspinwall passed away March 4, 2009 at Heartland Nursing Home on Normandy Blvd. Geraldine was the daughter of John and Della Tullos, born in Galveston, Texas on September 9th, 1913 and was raised by her mother, Della and step-father, Orliff G. Neal. She attended school in Jacksonville, Florida and married Oliver H. Aspinwall who served in the U. S. Army. She is survived by her sons, Donald G. (Bonnie) and Oliver (Elizabeth “Liz”) Aspinwall II; two grandsons, Oliver H. Aspinwall III and David Aspinwall; three granddaughters, Debra Sue Dennis, Charlene “Missy” Berry, and Kimberly Ann Escobar. Mrs. Aspinwall is also survived by seven great grandchildren, Stephen Caleb, Ellen, Jessica, Sheridan, Rebecca, Emmanuel and Daniel, as well as many nephews and nieces. She is deeply missed by her family and many friends. She was a member of Gardenview Baptist Church and First Love Sunday School Class. She loved her pastor, Steve Wagers. Visitation will be held from 10-11 AM Tuesday, March 10th , 2009 at Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 1426 Rowe Ave., Jacksonville, FL. The services will follow at 11 AM with Pastor Steve Wagers officiating. Entombment will follow in Restlawn Cemetery.
