First I would like to say thank you to everyone who has reached out to my grandmother Nancy and his love Fonda and her children.Gordy is my Uncle. There is so much I could said about him. But if you knew my Uncle I do not have to tell you how he was. He always would push me to do better. He never said I love you....you just knew he loved you. Gordy was a wonderful son to his parents. After his father passed he took care of my Grandmother. He never let her down. Now we have some pretty big shoes to fill. I know I will never meet another Gordan Woodley in my life. I am proud to say he is my Uncle. Now he is with my Poppa. He did not see death in a bad way. Gordy said it was simply the circle of life...the ultimate experience was his words. I love you Uncle Gordy! No good byes just see you later....

I will miss you, you looked out for me, taught me, defended me,and kept me laughing.  I was shocked to hear of your passing,  but I have to believe that you are in a better place.

Gordon took me onto his crew at CSC, watched over me, taught me the job. He was one of few who could best me at trivia and always fired back a joke as soon as I finished mine. I always felt like he would do anything for me or cover my back in a situation.  I hope he knew I would jump into the pit beside him. He was a guy I respected completely. I wish I had been a better friend, more than just buddies at work. Miss You

Just a personal note. My Mother and myself would like to thank everyone who has taken the time to write. He was blessed to have known y'all. You have brought many years of joy to his life.He was an amazing man with a quick smile and even quicker to help. Again thank you for being there for us. Very Kind of y'all

My heart has a BIG hole in it. But daddy has called you home to be with him. No need for you to worry about momma, as she will be well taken care of and looked after. No words will ever be able to say what you mean and meant to me. If i am able to be half the man you and daddy were, i will consider myself lucky. God Bless you my brother, my friend. I swear to you and everything  i hod Holy. You will be thought of not only daily but all the time. I truly Love you Gordie. I know we will be together again one day.

I couldn't write this till now, I seem to have a little trouble seeing the key's. Its been a week, today to be exact, so it's time. these few words could never begin to say how we felt about you, but you knew that.... you are one of a kind, always have been. Some would say "Broke the mold", but you were made special, to be replaced by none, so no molds to break.
 If anyone wanted to know the truth of something , anything...they need only to ask you.( I don't think you knew yourself how zinn you were, because it was so natural for you.) and you would reply " Hah, but can you handle the truth? Can ya? and he'd give a little laugh, and look down at you.... never judging,a small grin on his face,his answer was always the truth, because it was the only answer he had to the question. I don't believe he ever lied to us... he never needed too. He knew thats why we ask him...Marco said he was the ONLY man who NEVER lied to her.  
Now, the truth is how very much we are going to miss you, while we must stay to finish what we must. 
You once told me that people don't really cry for those that have passed because they died, but because they feel cheated that they were left behind before they were ready to let them go, and that makes us selfish in a way, It makes us human....(then you say you weren't human..lol,) the truth?... we didn't want to let you go.... but you knew it was your time to find peace. The only truth we could see or feel was that there would be a huge piece of our heart's missing. Now we cling tightly to the awesome memories of a man, to us was as large as life itself,and that we were so very fortunate to have in our lives for so long. You created them for us by sharing your life with us, and for that, we and many others are so very grateful. Thank you for choosing us,we hit the lotto with you and are richer for you allowing us to share lifes experience . So until we meet again, I know you'll be there to greet us when the time is ours.(Oh, and I know you won't let mom get lost either, Yeah, I remember, you were right once more...haha) you filled our lives with love,and laughter, and "ain't that what lifes all about?"  
We are going to miss you so very,very much,

My thoughts and prayers go out to Gordon's family.and friends. He was a wonderful man that you couldn't help but love. All his stories and jokes.... I could listen to him all day. It was a privilege to work with him and for him for so many years. He will be missed by so many!

My sincere sympathy goes out to all of the family.  Gordon was an amazing person and had so many stories to tell everyone.  He was a true friend to my Dad in every sense of the word and to all of my family thru the difficult time of Bill Cannon's illness.  He came over every day to see Pop and told each other stories all the time.  I will forever be grateful that he was Pops friend  I will truly miss him forever.  Everyone should be so lucky to have a friend like Gordon. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.

All I can say is Gordon was a good person, I enjoyed listening to his stories and felt secure at the events he and his crew worked. My sincere condolences to his family and friends.

My condolences to the family.  Gordon touched my life while working with him for several years.  I will miss him.

It's hard to imagine a world without Gordon in it. My sincere condolences to his family. He will be missed.
