Grace Marlow Thomas

She was born and raised in Wilkes County, North Carolina, then moved to Charlotte when she was 21 to attend

Queens Business College. She worked at Chadbourn Hosiery Mill in Charlotte for 20 years, then went to work

for Aetna Insurance Company. That job took her to Jacksonville, Florida where she retired in 1983.

She was a member of Arlington Baptist Church and also the Arlington Women's Club.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Phineas Marlow & Vetra Broyhill Marlow, & her husband William Leonard Thomas.

She is survived by her only child, Donna Warpool (Toby), her beloved grandchildren, Jeremy Warpool, Alyssa Newell (Jacob), & Matthew Warpool. She was the eldest of 10 children and survived them all. She had many loving cousins and extended family members that meant the world to her. Plus all of the sweet neighborhood ladies that she was friends with. She was a loyal, kind, devoted mother and grandmother and will be missed by all.
